Lady Spartans go 3-1 at NCMC

After splitting their opening two games at the NCMC tournament in Trenton Saturday, the Richmond Lady Spartans came back to take the next two games to take third place.

Richmond, now 15-4 for the season, opened with Jefferson. After losing to the perennial Class 1 contender 10-1 earlier this year in the Cameron tournament, the Lady Spartans picked up a 5-3 victory. Richmond made the most of its six hits and got solid pitching by Karen Jaggars.
