Deborah Yvonne McGuire

Deborah Yvonne McGuire, 49, of Hardin, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at her home.

Deborah was born on Sept. 15, 1966, in Poplarville, Miss., to Luther and Bonnie (Wayne) Wheat. She married Martin Allen McGuire, of Hardin June 8, 1995; he survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: her mother, Bonnie Salyers, of Norborne; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jerry L. Spicer, of Henrietta, and Samuel H. and Phyllis McGurie III, of Metropolis, Ill.; two daughters, and one son-in-law, Tabatha C. Spicer, of Norborne, and Jennifer and Jay Pero, of Metropolis, Ill.; two sisters, Wanda Faye and Lisa Flynn, both of Sapulpa, Okla. and nine grandchildren.

Deborah was preceded in death in by her father, Luther Wheat and one brother, Kevin Wheat.

Deborah was a homemaker. She lived in the Hardin area with her husband for the past 26 years. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church northeast of Hardin. Deborah loved and worshiped her grandchildren. She enjoyed growing flowers and gardening. She loved cooking and having company at the house.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Missouri Council of the Blind.

Memorial services are 2 p.m., Friday, June 24, at Hardin Baptist Church. Inurnment will be at later date. Online condolences maybe left at
