Richmond School Resource Officer Eric Amyx says March was his busiest month since the beginning of the school year.
Amyx said he received a total of 45 calls from Dear Elementary, Sunrise Elementary, Richmond Middle School and Richmond High School throughout the month.
In a written monthly report to the Richmond City Council, Amyx said the incidents included, “out of control juveniles, tobacco violations at the high school and students threatening self-harm.”
Three students received tickets for tobacco violations, one student was arrested for possession of marijuana and one was detained for assaulting a police officer, he reported.
