Sharp-shooting H-C girls down Well-Nap

Wellington-Napoleon girls basketball coach Andy Hampton might have wondered if Hardin-Central would miss any shots Monday night.

Well, the Bulldogs missed shots. Just not as many as Hampton and the Tigers probably would’ve liked.

Hampton estimated that Hardin-Central (10-8) shot 60 percent from the field in pulling off a 41-30 non-conference home win. Hardin-Central’s official total showed the Bulldogs shooting 45 percent, making 14 of 31 field goal attempts. Post player McKenzie McBee paced Hardin-Central’s attack with 16 points.
