RHS science improvements cleared for takeoff

The low bidder on a proposed upgrade for Richmond High School’s science department assured school board members Tuesday the project would be done – even with a delayed bidding process – before school opens in August.

“How confident do you feel?” member Stephanie Landwehr asked. “We’re really on target (to be ready) for August.”

A manager for 5 Oaks Associates, a general contractor from Centralia, attended the meeting with the project’s architect, Gary Barbee of Springfield.
