The Richmond Lady Spartans reached the 20-win plateau for the second consecutive year Monday night as they pounced on visiting Knob Noster 71-28. The victory over the winless Lady Panthers (0-21) pushed Richmond’s MRVC East record to 7-0 and a step closer to its second straight league crown.

The Lady Spartans, 20-2 overall, had three players reach double figures in scoring thanks to a defense that forced numerous turnovers which led to easy shots at the bucket.
