More than 44 players will suit up and play in a high school football game for the final time Saturday night at the 39th Annual Missouri Lions All-Star game in Warrensburg. The game, featuring the outstanding graduated seniors from the Class of 2015, will get under way with pregame festivities at 6:30 p.m., followed one-half hour later by kickoff at Walton Stadium/Vernon Kennedy Field on the campus of the University of Central Missouri.

The game benefits the Missouri Lions Saving Sight (formerly known as the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation) and has raised more than $200,000 for the statewide project.

The top football talent from across the state will be divided into Blue and Gold teams. Coaching this year’s Blue team will be coach Justin Conyers of Columbia-Battle High School, while coach Pat Kelley of Fulton High School will lead the Gold.
