James Douglas ‘Jim’ Hoeflicker

James Douglas “Jim” Hoeflicker, 74, of Richmond, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Northcare Hospice House, North Kansas City, Mo.

Jim was born Oct. 27, 1940, in Dover, to Edward G. and Antonia (Brewe) Hoeflicker.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Brenda Hoeflicker, of Concordia; one sister and brother-in-law, Rosemarie and Gene Robinson, of Kansas City, Mo.; one grandson, Cole Borgstadt; a special friend, Debbie

Schlotzhauer, and her husband, Terry, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Hoeflicker, Paul Hoeflicker and Harold Hoeflicker and one sister, Pauline Heinz.

Jim was owner and operator of Triple H. Associates, LLC before retiring in 2006. He also worked for Midway Ford, Green Quarries and managed various trucking companies. He was a member of the Missouri Army National Guard. He was of the Catholic faith. Jim lived in Lexington and Richmond most of his life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association or to the Mack Attack-Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 16, at Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond. Memorial services are 1 p.m., Friday, July 17, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Dover Cemetery, Dover, with military honors provided by Ray County veterans. Online condolences may be left at
