RHS grad, a biology researcher, has work published

Blake Alexander Simmons, a 2009 graduate of Richmond High School, has recently been recognized for his research on eastern gray squirrels.
Simmons is currently a student at the University of Antwerp in Belgium obtaining his Masters in Biology, specializing in biodiversity conservation and restoration. Simmons received two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and ecosystem science and policy from the University of Miami in May 2013. He also studied wildlife management in Kenya and Tanzania as well as tropical medicine and ethno biology in Costa Rica.
