R-XVI Wall of Honor taking nominations

Nominations for the 2014 Richmond R-XVI School District Wall of Honor are now being accepted.
“It’s time to make submissions,” said Stephanie Landwehr, co-chairman of the wall’s selection committee. “Anyone is welcome to make a nomination.”
The committee will accept nominations until Aug. 1, and honorees will be announced no later than Aug. 15.
According to the district’s Web site, the Richmond Education Foundation’s Wall of Honor recognizes individuals who “uphold the values, traditions and successes of the Richmond R-XVI School District.”
Nominees must be Richmond High School alumni, current or past faculty of the district or persons who have volunteered time or resources that better the district. Selection committee members will review nominations for the following criteria: leadership, specific contributions and longevity. Posthumous nominations will be accepted.
