Featured cats, Millie and Max, await permanent homes

This week’s featured pets at the Humane Society of Ray County are Millie and Max.
“Millie is a cute shorthair black and white cat. She is about 3 years old, born about April 2011. She weighs 12 pounds and is sweet and likes to play.  She will make a good companion,” Volunteer Gloria McFadden says.
“Max is an beautiful older gray male cat.  He is nine years old, born about June 2005.  He is timid right now as he just recently arrived at the shelter.  His previous owner isMax a woman was unable to care for him because of her health.  She is very upset that she had to give him up as he is a very sweet cat.”
