Lady Bearcats, Bearcats earn I-70 hoops honors

The Orrick Lady Bearcats landed three players on the I-70 Conferences all-conference team. The Bearcats had two players selected to the all-league team that was voted on by the conference coaches.

The Lady Bearcats, who finished third in the league race and won the Class 1, District 13 championship, had two first-team selections and one honorable mention. Junior Sam Fulte and senior Madison Winters represent the Lady Bearcats on the 10-player team, while Madison Endsley, another senior, earned honorable mention.

Fulte averaged 12.2 points a game this season for Orrick. In addition, she dished out 1.9 assists, with 5 rebounds and just under one steal a game this season for the Lady Bearcats.

Winters, who ended her four-year career with over 1,500 points, averaged 18.5 points and 6.2 rebounds a contest this season. She also averaged 2 assists and 2.3 steals a game as well.

Endsley, the senior center, scored 9.1 points and grabbed 8.5 rebounds each game for the Lady Bearcats. In addition, she recorded five double-doubles this season.
