Defense leads Lady Dawgs past Osborn

The Hardin-Central Lady Bulldogs held Osborn to single-digit scoring in all four quarters Thursday night in the home makeup game with the Wildcats. The Lady Bulldog offense got scoring from just about everyone as they rolled to a 73-23 victory over the 1-13 Lady Wildcats.

Olivia Ellis led all scorers with 24 points, while Addie Paul and Mary Penny chipped in 13 points each. Sarah McKay had 10 points to lead Osborn.

Hardin-Central grabbed a 16-9 advantage after the opening 8 minutes, and took a 34-16 lead by halftime. The Lady Bulldogs put the game away in the third period with a 26-2 scoring blitz and ended the night with a 13-5 scoring advantage over the final 8 minutes.
