The Hardin-Central Bulldogs had very little trouble in reaching tonight’s Class 1, District 14 semifinal matchup with Braymer. The Dawgs, the second seed in the tournament at Polo High School, rolled to a 61-13 win over Wentworth Military Academy in a first-round contest Tuesday night.

Hardin-Central will take a 21-5 mark into tonight’s 7:30 p.m. tipoff against Braymer (22-4).

The Bulldogs had four players reach double digits as the beat Wentworth for the second time this season. Michael Carpenter and Chase Sims scored 12 points apiece for the Dawgs, with Sean Utley adding 11 and Wyatt Craven chipping in 10.

Hardin-Central established an early lead and took off from there.
