Incumbents dominate county municipal races

Orrick school district voters will select three new board members in the April 8 election.

Incumbents Jenny Miller, Karen McGlothlin and Linda Buchanan chose not to seek re-election. Four candidates – Jeremy Greer, Danielle Lopez, Jennifer Jennings and Roger Thomas – will vie for three open seats, all three-year terms.

Other contested races include Henrietta Board of Aldermen, Hardin-Central School Board and Camden mayor.

Incumbents Lewis Long and Eugene White have filed for Henrietta board seats as well as Mike Story and David King. The board has three open positions, all serving two-year terms.  Hardin-Central school board president Kyle Foster has filed for re-election as well as incumbent Jeff Smith. Newcomers to the school board race are Kim Davidson, Malcolm Cunningham, Jeff Doyle and Stacy Nolker. Incumbent Cindy Noelker didn’t seek another term. Camden Mayor Vicky Jordan is seeking another term and faces challenger Jim Coven.
