Victoria Rickart will be representing the RHS cheerleaders in London over the holidays. After being chosen during the summer to cheer and dance in the London New Year’s Day Parade, Tori began fundraising and working longer hours to get herself to London.

One of the fundraisers for Victoria was a raffle of a $500 MasterCard. The lucky winner was Kyle McAdams.

Victoria met her goal and flew to London the day after Christmas. The London New Year’s Day Parade is a tradition that began in 1987 with the first Cheerleaders making their appearance in 1989.

What began as a small parade now boasts more than 10,000 participants from all over the world. It is viewed by several million spectators, in person and on the networks. In the United states you can view it online at, on the LNYDP on Facebook and on Channel 62,  KSMO, in Kansas City beginning at 6 a.m. Jan. 1. Victoria is very excited to represent the USA, her town of Richmond, and her high school with her parade performance.
