Lady Bulldogs win fifth in a row

Three Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures Thursday night to help Hardin-Central chalk up its fifth straight win.

After dropping their season opener to visitng Santa Fe, the Lady Bulldogs will now head into the holiday break with a 5-1 record following a 58-32 win at Northwestern of Mendon.

Addie Paul scored a game-high 19 points for the Lady Dawgs as they won their second CLAA contest in as many tries. Olivia Ellis chipped in 17 points and Mary Penny scored 11.

Mallory Gardner led Northwestern (1-5, 1-1) with 14 points.

Hardin-Central took a 14-7 lead after 8 minutes and began to pull away in the second quarter with a 19-7 scoring advantage as Paul scored 8 points and Penny added 6.
