Featured this week are roommates Squeaks and Lizzy, top to bottom, right, and Jock, a 2-year-old Schnauzer mix.
The cats were very timid when they came to the shelter, but have warmed up and like to be petted. Jock, about 16 pounds, is very friendly and likes children.
The Humane Society has a two-cats-for-the-price-of one special this weekend, July 13-14.
There are many cats needing good homes, a number of which came to the shelter together and share a room.
Only cats living in the same room qualify for the two-for-one special.
