Estenbaum sentenced in H-C assault

After hearing from two victims, victims’ parents, several prosecution witnesses and both attorneys, Judge Larry Dale Harman on Friday sentenced Randy Estenbaum to a term of five years — with suspended execution of sentence — as well as 5 years of probation, 120 days of shock time in Ray County Jail, community service, probation conditions and court costs. In April, Estenbaum pleaded guilty to two counts of assault, one a felony the other a misdemeanor, that took place in a Hardin-Central locker room. Estenbaum was placed in custody after court adjourned. The complete story will be in Monday’s newspaper.
