Three Tigers reached double digits Friday night to lead Wellington-Napoleon to a 76-33 I-70 Conference victory over the Bearcats at Orrick.

Brandon Niendick scored all of his game-high 18 points in the first half to help the Tigers improve to 17-6 for the season. Christian Bryant chipped in 17 points for the Tigers with Jacob Beckemeyer adding 13.

Wellington-Napoleon raced out to a 23-5 lead after the first 8 minutes and then took a 44-21 cushion into the locker room for halftime. The Tigers outscored Orrick 20-10 in the third period.

“Wellington-Napoleon is a talented team with a solid offense and defense,” Bearcat coach Jared McMahon said. “They were able to force turnovers on us and we missed a lot of open shots.”
