Karl Victor Olson

Karl Victor Olson, 40, of Higginsville died Thursday, June 14, 2012 as result of injuries from an automobile accident.

Karl Victor Olson was born Oct. 13, 1971 in Hardin, Mont., the son of David L. Olson and Delores Clawson Herman.  Karl was of the Methodist faith.  He was a welder at H & H Welding.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

Karl is survived by two children, Erin Rayanne Olson of Higginsville and Jaiden Michael Olson of Richmond; his parents, Delores and Andy Herman of Higginsville and Dave and Patty Olson of Vaughn, Montana; two brothers, Todd Herman of Iola, Kan. and Brian Herman of Grand Forks, N.D.; four sisters,  Vibecka Olson of Lexington, Lisa Konold and husband Randy of Watertown, S.D., Alberta Gooden of Lexington   and  Ashe Gooden-Herman of Higginsville; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 19,  at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington.  Inurnment will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington, with military honors.  Visitation from 9 to 10 a.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to his children’s education fund.
