Extension to host goat seminar in Higginsville June 28

Are you a goat producer interested in learning more about reproduction and health aspects of goat production?
Well, you are in luck because University of Missouri–Extension, Lincoln University Cooperative Outreach Extension, and Lafayette County 4–H are teaming up to put on a goat workshop in Higginsville that will educate goat producers on reproduction and health aspects of goat production.
The workshop will be on June 28 at the Higginsville Community Building at Fairgrounds Park. Registration will start around 5:30 p.m., with the workshop following at 6 p.m.
The program will feature Larry Robinson discussing reproduction aspects of goat production and Dr. Bob Shockley leading a discussion of the health aspects of goat production.
Goat producers should find techniques or information that can be used to improve their operations.
Cost is $10 per person. Drinks and snacks will be provided. There will also be local agriculture vendors if you have questions or need information on products for your goat operation.
