Theresa Marie Taber

Theresa Marie Taber, 48, of Richmond died at 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011 at her home.

Theresa was born on November 29, 1962 in Richmond to Albert and Doris (Harshner) Taber.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Taber of Alamo, Texas; one daughter, Danielle Mintzlaff of Richmond; one brother, Jim Taber of Liberty; and one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Wallace Williams of Kansas City, Mo.

Theresa was a self-employed professional dog groomer. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Richmond.

She was a lifelong Richmond resident. Theresa owned and operated MOissouri River Kennel and Dog Grooming for eight years. Theresa also was a computer programmer. She also owned and operated the Missouri River Aussie and Spanish Mustang Breeding.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Richmond Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to the Ray County Humane Society.

Memorial Mass was Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at 10 a.m. at  Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Richmond. Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 27,  from 7 to 8 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond with the Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. Inurnment will be in  Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery in Richmond  at a later date.

    I was so sad to know of Theresa’s passing. I still have the little lady she gave me when she was in Girl Scouts so many years ago. Theresa had a bright spirit.
