Orrick routs Windsor

There was no looking ahead Monday night for the Orrick Lady Bearcats. With two big league games coming up later this week, the I-70 Conference leaders wasted no time in taking care of visiting Windsor 57-6.
Orrick jumped out to a 23-1 first-quarter lead and was well on its way to improving to 5-0 in the league and 18-2 overall.
“We did a good job of coming out quick and taking care of business,” Orrick Coach Mitch Comstock said. “I was proud of our effort and feel like this was a good way to start a tough week.”
Windsor, now 1-4 in conference and 2-14 overall, had just two free throws on the board in the first half and did not get its first field goal until the third quarter.
