Hometown Chief

Colin Brown (61), a graduate of Braymer High School, was one of six Missouri Tigers taken in the NFL draft over the weekend.
Brown started on the offensive line for Ole Mizzou the past two seasons and was picked by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round. Brown earned all-state honors in both football and basketball while at Braymer and began his career at Missouri as a walk-on before earning his scholarship. The 6-7, 335-pounder grew up as a Chiefs fan and said being drafted by them is a “dream come true.” (File photo by Russ Green/The Daily News.)
