MoDOT 'Road Show' to hear from citizens

The Kansas City District of the Missouri Department of Transportation has launched an interactive road show, “Your Voice in Transportation,” to take transportation issues to the street.
The road show will roll into Richmond on Thursday, April 23 at the City Council Chamber, 205 Summit, from 7 to 8 p.m. Members of the community will have an opportunity to voice their opinion about transportation related projects and learn about new initiatives like the Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Attendees can become a voice in transportation and engage in a conversation with MoDOT.
This program is the first of its kind for the department. The goal is to help Missourians understand how valuable their ideas, solutions and input are to the transportation process. Outreach is a critical aspect of MoDOT’s practical design process.
