Display keeps growing

The Jesse James display area upstairs at the Ray County Museum continues to grow. A display with different documents like the ones shown above is the newest feature.
Included are Bob Ford’s pardon papers for the murder of James and a bill from the Ray County Sheriff for the James’ gang 1867 bank robbery in Richmond. The documents were furnished to the museum by Missouri Historical Preservationist Becky Carlson (Photo by Dennis Sharkey /The Daily News)
