Third defendant in meth case receives probation

The third and final defendant in the Mike Williams meth case has received probation as part of a plea agreement.
Vanessa Whelchel was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for her involvement in the crime that took place last spring.
Whelchel received a suspended execution of sentence and will do five years probation. Prosecutor James Thompson said Whelchel will also have to continue her drug treatment program and pay restitution.
