Jury trial scheduled for man accused of selling meth

A Ray County man accused of selling methamphetamine to an undercover narcotics officer will stand trial before a jury.
Emmett Grieme of Hardin appeared in Carroll County Circuit Court Friday morning to set the trial date. Grieme received a request for a change of judge and venue from the court.
Search warrants were served at Grieme’s trailer in Hardin after he alledgedly made three separate sales to confidential informants.
Grieme is currently being held in the Ray County Jail on a $250,000 bond. The case was investigated by the Ray County Drug Task Force, an all volunteer task force.
Two other search warrants were served the same night in connection. Steven J. Daniels and Robin Ann Anderson of Richmond were also arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Grieme’s trial is scheduled for March 30 and 31.
