Sharon L. Boxx

Sharon Lee Boxx, 65, of Topeka, Kan., formerly of Mosby, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kan.
Sharon was born Nov. 15, 1942 in Mosby, the daughter of Forest Albert and Letha Jane (Linch) Sullard. She married Bennie Boxx May 20, 1960 at Mosby.
Sharon worked at IHOP as a cook and waitress. For many years she cared for her daughter and mother in her home. She enjoyed barn dances, cards, crafts and her computer. She was a member of the Mosby Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Ben Boxx and his wife, Darlene, of Berryton, Kan.; two sisters, Martha Thompson of Little Elm, Texas and Donna Chenault of Kansas City, Kan.; her former husband, Bennie Boxx of Wilcox, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her parents, daughter Sue Boxx, and two sisters, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27, at Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27, at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
