Former Hardin-Central standout Chris Wilson will have one more chance to represent the Bulldogs Saturday night. Wilson, who ran for 1,369 yards and 18 touchdowns during his senior season, will be one of 40 players named to participate in the Second Annual 8-Man All-Star Football Game.
The game will once again be played at William Jewell College in Liberty, and will cap a three-day period of activity that begins on Thursday as the players check into their dorms on the campus. The game kicks off at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Wilson, who was selected second-team All-State this past season, will be on the Red team coached by Mark Juhl of St. Joseph Christian. Hardin-Central head coach Kirk Thacker will be one of Juhl’s three assistants on the staff. Thacker was also an assistant coach in last season’s inaugural contest. Also serving as assistants are Chuck Borey of Worth County and Roy Noellsch of Nodaway-Holt.
