Broderick takes 7th at state golf
Richmond’s Blaine Broderick didn’t quite have the second round he expected Tuesday at the Class 2 state golf tournament at the Deer Lake Golf Course in Springfield. After firing a 1-over par 73 on Monday, the Spartan sophomore carded a 7-over 79 on Tuesday, but still managed to finish in the top 10 with his two-day total of 152. »
Tough luck in tough district
An outstanding tennis season at Richmond came to a close Friday at the Class 1, District 8 tournament at Noyes Courts in St. Joseph. The Spartans failed to get anyone through in one of the toughest districts in the state and finished eighth in the 13-team field with 10 points. »
