Marion Andrew Adams (07-14-2010)
Marion Andrew Adams, 91, of Lawson, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Marion was born Aug. 12, 1918 in Gallatin, the son of Earl and Mildred (Stephens) Adams. He married Anna K. Linville Adams June 26, 1937; she preceded him in death Feb. 18, 2004.
Survivors include: two daughters, Carol L. Cohrs and husband, Raymond, Lake City, Fla., and Margaret A. Workman, Hudson, Colo.; one brother, C.W. Adams, of Westbrook, Conn.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Marion was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one grandson.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Alzheimers Association or the American Cancer Society.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, July 15 at Polley Funeral Home, Lawson. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery, Excelsior Springs.
