Jacob D. Luna (06-18-2010)
Jacob D. Luna, 31, of Richmond, died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at his home.
Jacob was born May 8, 1979 in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Carol Jean Snyder. He married Meagan E. O’Neal of Kansas City Feb. 14, 2009; she survives of the home.
Jacob was a truck driver. He was a member of the Teamster’s Union Local 541. He lived most of his life in the Gladstone area before moving to Richmond in 2007.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: his mother, Carol Leonard, Gladstone; two sons, Ryan A. O’Neal and Onyx X. Luna, of the home; two daughters, Roxy N. O’Neal and Zoey M. Luna, of the home; one brother and sister-in-law, Steven Luna and his wife, Brande, of Kansas City; one sister and brother-in-law, Carmen Whitaker and her husband, Michael, Kansas City; paternal grandmother, Lois Luna, Independence; and his maternal grandfather, Paul Eiken, Independence.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jacob D. Luna Memorial Fund.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday, June 21, at Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond. Memorial services will follow the visitation at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond.
