Charles Bernley Vredenburg (06-04-2010)
Charles Bernley Vredenburg, 91, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Saturday May 29, 2010 at Excelsior Springs Medical Center.
Charles was born Jan. 25, 1919 in Pisgah, Iowa, the son of James M. and Nina G. (Kemmish) Vredenburg.
Survivors include: a stepson, John Fisher and wife, Kay, Excelsior Springs; three stepdaughters, Dorothy Burnham and husband, Art, Wheatridge, Colo., Betty Knapp and husband, Bob, Silverthorne, Colo., and Bonnie Evers and husband, Tom, Longmont, Colo.; one brother, Amos Vredenburg, Powell, Wyo.; one sister, Ila Graham, Eagleville, Mo.; and extended family and friends.
His parents, his first wife, Lucille and his second wife, Sadie, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Memorial services will be at 5 p.m., Sunday June 13, at the Community of Christ Church in Excelsior Springs, with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service.
