The organization rented the Farris Theater on Saturday to show the 1920 classic, “Mark of Zorro,” featuring the acrobatic stunts of Douglas Fairbanks (at left). Eckhoff said the Farris was the perfect venue the group’s “Voice of Silents” event.
Most of the 30 or so people in attendance wore vintage clothes, and some actually made 1920s dresses for the occasion. Eckhoff was the emcee for event, educating movie goers how one should behave at the show: Cheer for the good guys and hiss at the bad ones. (Photos by JoEllen Black/The Daily News)
