Patricia A. Horn, 79, of Polo died Sunday July 20, at her home. Born on May 22, 1935 in Bushton Kansas to James and Katherine (Gable) Godfrey. She was a high school graduate and received her degree accounting from Wentworth Military Academy. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hamilton, where she served on the Altar Society and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Polo.
Survivors include her husband William “Bill” Horn of the home; her children Randy (Donna) Horn of West Des Moines Iowa; Debbie Horn of Independence; Steve (Linda) Horn of Blue Springs, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her sister Jean (Bill) Wagner of Warrenton Mo; Brother Dick (Helen) Godfrey of Salina, Kans.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m.Thursday July 24, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hamilton. Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery Higginsville. Parish rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Wednesday July 23, with visitation following until 8 p.m. at the Bailey Cox Funeral Home Polo.
