The long-running cases against former deputy county administrator Felicia Leslie and Mary Liese, a home-health manager and alleged conspirator, hit a new bump in June.
Originally charged in 2011 with having masterminded the theft of $27,530 from a ward of Ray County, Leslie had been scheduled for trial in Clinton County late last month.
But a late request for a continuance further postponed the trial to Feb. 23-27, 2015, Ray County Prosecutor Danielle Rogers said.
“The defendant had asked for a continuance of the trial date because they were requesting more (time for) discovery,” Rogers said.
