Humane Society of Ray County: Flower’s offspring: Get ‘em while they’re kittens

Flower and her kittens 2From Gloria McFadden, Humane Society volunteer: “Recently arrived are Flower and her kittens.  Flower is a tortoise shell cat.  She is about a year old.  I petted her and picked her up when she first came in and she seemed like a very nice cat.
Flower came in with four kittens but one of her kittens has been adopted.  There are still three nice kittens ready for adoption. Simba is a male orange tabby kitten.  Mufasa is a black male kitten.  Fluffy is a tortoise shell female kitten.  The kittens were born about mid-May 2014.  They are no longer nursing and all have been spayed or neutered.  They are at that cute stage and ready to go to their new homes.
The Humane Society of Ray County has a selection of adoptable cats and dogs. Adoption days are Saturdays and Sundays from 1-3 p.m. at 200 S. College St. (the old county jail). For info, call: Tammy at 660-232-1306 or Donna at 816-504-7843. The shelter would like a countertop refrigerator if you have one to donate.
Adoption fees are $110 for dogs or $80 for cats, which includes spay/neutering, shots, tests and registered microchipping for dogs.
