MONDAY, JUNE 2

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. with weigh-in, Weight Watchers will meet at the Ray County Health Department, 820 E. Lexington St., Richmond.

At 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets at the United Christian Presbyterian Church, 501 N. Spartan Dr. in Richmond.

At 7 p.m., Faith in Life on Life’s Terms support group will meet at the Richmond Assembly of God Church in the church basement.  This is for addicts and non-addicts alike. All are welcome.

TUESDAY, JUNE 3

At 11:30 a.m., Richmond Kiwanis meets at The 19th Hole with social time beginning at 11:30 and meeting at noon.

At 4 p.m., American Legion will host bingo at the Ray County Veterans Building, 312 Clark St., Richmond. Doors open at 4 p.m. with the first game beginning at 6 p.m.

At 7 p.m., the Ray County Community Arts Association will hold its monthly board meeting at the Eagleton Center in Richmond.  The meeting is open to the public. Anyone interested in contributing  ideas for events to bring to the community or to be involved in the RCCAA is welcome to join at any time. For more information, call 816-470-6710 or 816-803-4439.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4

From 4 to 5 p.m.,  Havesters mobile food pantry will be at 210 Hwy. and Bruns Rd. at the Arnold’s Pioneer Seed Building in Orrick.  This is available on a first come first serve basis.

From 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tri-County Mental Health Services Family Support Group will meet in the day program area of Tri-County’s offices at the Northland Human Services Center, 3100 NE 83rd St., Kansas City North. Discussion includes ideas for supporting a friend, family member or loved one with mental illness, along  with sharing and support from others with similar experiences. Refreshments will be served. THURSDAY, JUNE 5

At 9 a.m., Connect with your well deserved VA Benefits.  Hearing problems? Agent orange? Meetings will be held every Thursday at the Veterans Building on Clark St.  Contact Jim Rippy for more information 816-739-9899.

FRIDAY, JUNE 6

At 7 p.m., the Orrick Jam at the Orrick Community Center.  Country, gospel and bluegrass music.  For more information, call Rick 816-630-4773.

SATURDAY, JUNE 7

From 7 a.m. to noon, Richmond Downtown District sponsors its annual farmers market on College Street, west side of Ray County Courthouse. There is no vendor fee.

At 6 p.m., The 32nd Annual Wrisinger Family Reunion will be held at Maurice Roberts Park South Shelter.  Potluck dinner at 6 p.m. all friends and family are welcome.

SUNDAY, JUNE 8

From 11 a.m. to ?, The 30th Annual Palmer-Burk Family Reunion will be held at Maurice Roberts Part West Shelter.  Potluck dinner at 1 p.m., all friends and family are welcome.

From noon until 3 p.m. Claypole Reunion for the descendants of Samuel L. Claypole at Jeffrey Kyle’s Restaurant in Richmond.
