I’ve had several people ask me what’s the most visited grave in Ray County and they are usually shocked to hear that Bob Ford is not my first answer. I’m sure many of you are thinking that I would like to give the first-place honors to Capt. Bill Anderson, the Partisan Ranger buried at the Richmond Pioneer Cemetery, but he’s not number one either.
The most visited grave site in Richmond honors goes to Oliver Cowdery and the Whitmer family plot at the Richmond Pioneer Cemetery, which is also known as the Mormon Cemetery.
For the complete story, see the June 23 print edition of the Richmond News.
