Not much news has come in yet so you will understand that I will tell you about what I have been doing.
Saturday, June 14, I went to the Historic Farris Theatre planning to see the show, “Passion for Performing Arts,” directed by Jonathon Daniel, but as I was putting in my donation I began to feel ill and deemed it wise to return home. I am told that it was wonderful, and I am so sorry to have missed it.
Tuesday, June 17, Billie Hamann and I went to Overland Park to meet the other members of our old bridge club. We had lunch at the Red Lobster, one of my favorite places, and then we went on to the home of Fred and Paula Burress for dessert. Others present were Jack and Jessamine Layman. I was sorry to miss the regular meeting of the Richmond Kiwanis club but will make it up at the evening meeting on June 24.
