Humane Society: Plenty of pups looking for permanent homes
A number of dogs available for adoption through the Humane Society of Ray County are pictured in a collage created by volunteer Gloria McFadden.
“Cory, LuLu, GiGi, and Jay Jay are all litter mates. They are dumped dogs,” Gloria said. “Two of their litter mates have been adopted. Maverick is an owner turnover by an owner could not take care of him. Zeus was dumped along with his mother and sister. His sister has been adopted.
The Humane Society has a selection of adoptable cats and dogs at its shelter. Adoption days are Saturdays and Sundays from 1-3 p.m. at 200 S. College St. For info, call: Tammy at 660-232-1306 or Donna at 816-504-7843.
