Lucille Josephine Pratt, 75, of Richmond, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Shirkey Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Lucille was born Jan. 7, 1939 in Gallatin, the daughter of George and Rose (Caldwell) Minor. She married Earl LeRoy Pratt of Kansas City, Mo. in 1955; he preceded her in death in December of 2003.
Lucille was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for Ray County Memorial Hospital Home Health Department and Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. She was of the Christian faith and lived most of her life in Ray County.
Survivors include: five sons Roy Pratt, Ronnie Pratt, Joe Pratt, Earl Lee Pratt and his wife Carla all of Richmond, MO and Brett (Shelly) Pratt of Lexington; five daughters Tina (Jerry) Henry, Lois (Donnie) Sharp both of Richmond, Brenda Sliva (Salvador) of Godwin, N.C., Shelly Alexander of Higginsville, and Christina (Dean) Fields of Richmond; three brothers Charles Minor and Darrell Minor both of Cowgill, and Mike (Sandy) Minor of Liberty; and a sister Janie Duncan of Cowgill; 13 grandchildren LeShonda Rodriguez, Pete Toler, Chris Toler, Jennifer King, Kim Stevens, Jessica Driscoll, Joe Pratt, Jalisa Pratt, Morgan Pratt, Madison Pratt, Blaze Pratt, Lindsey Henry and Nicolas Henry and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by one daughter Carol Jean Pratt, one brother Douglas Minor and her sister Brenda Mary Minor.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 30, at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 29, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Cowgill Cemetery, Cowgill.
