MONDAY, MARCH 3

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. with weigh-in, Weight Watchers will meet at Ray County Health Department, 820 E. Lexington St., Richmond.

At 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets at the United Christian Presbyterian Church, 501 N. Spartan Dr. in Richmond.

At 7 p.m., Faith in Life on Life’s Terms support group will meet at the Richmond Assembly of God Church in the church basement.  This is for addicts and non-addicts alike. All are welcome.

At 7:30 p.m., Ray County Democrats Club will meet at The 19th Hole with a guest speakers at Shirkey Golf Course.

TUESDAY, MARCH 4

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., AARP Tax Foundation Offering Free tax preparation service for seniors and families with low to middle income. Trained AARP volunteers will be available at Ray County Library, 215 E Lexington in Richmond. Those disabled or over 65, may be eligible for a refund from the state for rent or real estate tax even if income is below requiring a tax return filing. Bring a rent statement or your paid real estate tax receipt, income statements for Social Security, interest and pensions. Also bring proof of payments for any supplemental health and /or drug insurance premiums.

At 11:30 a.m., Richmond Kiwanis meets at The 19th Hole with social time beginning at 11:30 and meeting at noon.

At 4 p.m., American Legion will host bingo at the Ray County Veterans Building, 312 Clark St., Richmond. Doors open at 4 p.m. with the first game beginning at 6 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5

At 1 p.m., Chapter CO of P.E.O. will meet at the home of Harriet Minnick with Nancy Brummall as the co-hostess. The social time begins at 1 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 1:30 p.m.

From 4 to 5 p.m.,  Havesters mobile food pantry will be at Highway 210 and Bruns Road at Arnold’s Pioneer Seed Building in Orrick.  This is available on a first-come first-serve basis.

From 6 to 8 p.m., First Baptist Church, Richmond will host Celebrate Recovery led by Mike Bliss.  For general information, call 816-776-2296.

At 9 a.m., Connect with your well deserved VA Benefits.  Hearing problems? Agent orange? Meetings at the Veterans Building.

From 6 to 9 p.m., the sixth of six lectures on the U.S. Constitution will be live streamed at Van Till Family Farm Winery, 13986 Hwy. C, Rayville. There are two lectures per night. Cost per person is $45 and includes a workbook. Contact Debbie at 816-776-2720.

FRIDAY, MARCH 7

At 7 p.m., The Richmond High School Theatre Department will present The Diary of Anne Frank at the Farris Theatre. Ticket prices are $10, $7 for senior citizens (55+), children under 5 are free.

At 1 p.m., The Ray County Genealogical Association will meet at the Ray County Museum.  The program will be, “Women Who Helped Change the West.”  The public is invited.

At 6 p.m., The First Baptist Church will host Hee Haw Family Night for $5 a family or $3 individuals. This includes dinner, games, music and comedy at the church 306 W. Main, Richmond.
