MONDAY, MARCH 24

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. with weigh-in, Weight Watchers will meet at Ray County Health Department, 820 E. Lexington St., Richmond.

At 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets at the United Christian Presbyterian Church, 501 N. Spartan Dr. in Richmond.

At 7 p.m., Faith in Life on Life’s Terms support group will meet at the Richmond Assembly of God Church in the church basement.  This is for addicts and non-addicts alike. All are welcome.

TUESDAY, MARCH 25

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., AARP Tax Foundation Offering Free tax preparation service for seniors and families with low to middle income. Trained AARP volunteers will be available at Ray County Library, 215 E Lexington in Richmond. Those disabled or over 65, may be eligible for a refund from the state for rent or real estate tax even if income is below requiring a tax return filing. Bring a rent statement or your paid real estate tax receipt, income statements for Social Security, interest and pensions. Also bring proof of payments for any supplemental health and /or drug insurance premiums.

At 11:30 a.m., Richmond Kiwanis meets at The 19th Hole with social time beginning at 11:30 and meeting at noon.

At 4 p.m., American Legion will host bingo at the Ray County Veterans Building, 312 Clark St., Richmond. Doors open at 4 p.m. with the first game beginning at 6 p.m.

At 7 p.m., The Fourth Tuesday Grief Support Group will meet at the United Christian Presbyterian Church, 501 North Spartan Drive in Richmond.  This meeting is open to anyone dealing with issues of loss and grief.  If you have questions, call Mary Alice Blakeman at 816-517-9343 or D. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26

From 4 to 5 p.m., The Hardin Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry will have food distribution and pick up for preregistered Hardin School District Families (This includes Stet) at the Hardin United Methodist Church. For more information or to register please call 660-398-4532.

From 6 to 8 p.m., First Baptist Church, Richmond will host Celebrate Recovery led by Mike Bliss.  For general information, call 816-776-2296.

THURSDAY, MARCH 27

At 9 a.m., Connect with your well deserved VA Benefits.  Hearing problems? Agent orange? Meetings at the Veterans Building.

At 6 p.m., The Ray County Democrats Committee will meet at Richmond Housing Authority, 302 N. Camden St.

FRIDAY, MARCH 28

From 5 to 7 p.m., The Knights of Columbus will host a fish fry at the Ray County Veterans Building, 312 Clark St., Richmond.  $8 per plate or $25 per family.

SATURDAY, MARCH 29

At 6 p.m., Crowley Cemetary Association Annual Meeting with be at the Rayville Christian Union Church.

From 4 to 5 p.m.,  Havesters mobile food pantry will be at 210 Hwy. and Bruns Rd. at the Arnold’s Pioneer Seed Building in Orrick.  This is available on a first come first serve basis.
