Carolyn Ann Isenhour, 71, of Orrick, died Friday, March 07, 2014 at her home.
Carolyn was born March 10, 1942 in Chicago, Ill. to Paul A. and Josephine G. (Zimmerman) Alexander. She married Harold E. Isenhour of Liberty, Jan. 27, 1961; he survives of the home.
Carolyn was a homemaker. She was a member of the Fleming Baptist Church. She worked in retail sales and she was also a cosmetologist.
Additional survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Clay Austin and Marlene Renee’ Isenhour of Orrick; one daughter, Sherry Lynne Pennington of Camden; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald P. and Barb Alexander of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce E. and Neal McCaleb of Surprise, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Cody Mitchell Pennington and his wife, Elizabeth Ann, Jessica Paige Isenhour, Amy Michelle Isenhour and Shelby Lynne Pennington; and three great-grandchildren, Hailey Michelle and Kailey Ann Pennington and Addisyn Paige Finley.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Fleming Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Orrick Fire Department.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 10, at 1:30 p.m. at the Fleming Baptist Church. Visitation was held Sunday, March 9, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial in the South Point Cemetery in Orrick.
