Patricia Ann Robinson was born July 19, 1945 in Gary, Indiana to Francine Banks and Willie Washington. She was reared in Chillicothe. She was educated at Garrison School and Chillicothe High School.
Pat was a humble person and had a great love for God. She was a faithful member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Chillicothe. She accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized at the age of 11. She served as superintendent of the Sunday School, she taught the junior class and sang in the youth choir. She was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church after moving to Richmond.
Feb. 15, 1964, she was united in marriage to Edward C. Robinson. To this union four children were born: Edward Cecil, Jr., Darryl Wayne, Terrance Roland, and Matthew Gordon.
Pat worked at various factories, as a nurse’s aide and also as a caregiver. Pat was an enthusiastic fan of “The Price Is Right,” “The Young and the Restless” and “Judge Judy.” She was also an avid reader and was known for her recipe for “fried chicken” and for her “cornbread” that was as light as cake. She had a passion for her family and would do anything for them. She was seen near and far at their sporting, cheerleading and choir events.
She leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Darryl, Terrance, and Matthew and also her granddaughter Tonesha all of Richmond; her brother, Jerry Banks, Kansas City, Mo.; her sister, Rozena Jackson, brother, Michael Jackson, and brother, James Jackson all of Kansas City, Mo.; Cassie and Shawn Alexander, Michelle, Billy and Tyrone Robinson, 15 grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Francine Jackson, son, Edward, and brother, Matthew.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Tonesha Robinson College fund.
