Hardin-Central had too many scoring options for Orrick to stop Friday night as the visiting Bulldogs chalked up their 17th victory of the season with a 66-47 decision over the Bearcats.
Four Bulldogs reached double digits with Leonard Chilcutt and Clif Kugler each scoring 17 points to lead the way. Ryan Layman, on the strength of three buckets from outside the 3-point arc, scored 10 points, while Zak Finley also chipped in with 10 points.
Kugler got the scoring started for Hardin-Central as he posted 8 of his nightly total as the Dawgs grabbed an early 16-11 lead. Kugler added 6 more points in the second quarter as Hardin-Central put 22 more points on the board to extend its advantage by the intermission to 38-23.
