From RHS with Love
Senior Chad Truby waved to the audience after he was chosen Sunday as the National Honor Society’s 2014 Mr. Valentine. Truby, a two-sport athlete, A+ student and member of student council, will begin basic training in the Navy in August to become a nuclear engineer.
Mr. Valentine contestants Daymean Probst (pink tanktop) and Wayne Jenkins (red shirt, center) had some help feeling the burn from RHS students, from left, Jack Bentley, Quinton Maxwell, Daniel Pearon and Philip Kincaid. Maxwell and Kincaid are both National Honor Society members. The routine, a takeoff on Richard Simmons, was Probst’s Sportswear routine. The annual event raised $717 for the school district’s Backpack Program, NHS Sponsor Kim Wilton said. (Photos by David Knopf/Richmond News)
